🧩 The challenge was not only to support a polished direct-to-consumer shopping experience, but also to manage the operational complexity of a brand that sells across multiple channels and serves an international audience. Publicly, SERASAR supports multiple languages, ships across the EU and internationally, processes weekday orders within 24 hours, and maintains customer-service workflows around returns, tracking, and product support. 📦 In practice, that creates a harder systems problem: inventory must be tracked in a way that reflects real movement across products, packages, and channels, while fulfilment decisions need to stay efficient and scalable. The core need was to go beyond simple storefront inventory and implement a more intelligent operational model that could allocate items into boxes dynamically, surface meaningful statistics, and predict stock depletion before it became a business problem.
